Equipment Rules:  

1.) Open to any archer bringing in their own bow as long as they meet the following requirements:

            a. Longbows and recurves only, no compound bows or crossbows

            b. Bows must be UNDER 80 pounds of draw weight at 28 inches.

 

2.) Arrows must be wooden with a field or target tip.  No broadheads.  Plastic vanes or feather vanes are allowed.

 

3.) No sighting device on bow.

 

4.) For safety reasons, all bows are subject to a safety inspection before the tournament begins.

 

5.) A bow may be borrowed (as available) in order to participate in the tournament.

 

Tournament Rules: 

1.) Archers will be allowed 3 shots from a non-specific distance. Each archer that hits the mark will be allowed to continue on. 

2.) Successful archers will move back 10 paces and shoot again, this will continue until one archer is remaining.

3.) In the event of a tie, the archer closest to the "bullseye" will be declared the winner.
